You might be confident with cooking up a sausage sizzle or some steaks but maybe not so much with fish and crustaceans.... Never fear, this class will ensure you are confident to cook seafood on the bbq at home. The hands on class is led by a qualified chef and bbq master who will show you tips and tricks to keep your seafood fresh tasting and moist. You'll cook four dishes with the help of the chef and at the end of the class you'll sit down as a group to eat and drink craft beer. Each dish is matched to a boutique beer that complements its flavours.

Going home with a recipe book including all the recipes you tried in class and an additional 50 will have you feeling confident to bbq seafood at home.

Session Length

  • Morning and afternoon sessions available on weekends
  • Morning session starts at 11.30am and afternoon session starts at 3.30pm
  • Classes are also available on Thursdays from 6:30pm – 9:30pm
  • Please Note: NSW has two Sydney locations - please check the confirmation email from BBQ School for venue location

Numbers on the Day

This experience is for a maximum of 20 people. If the minimum number of participants is not reached, you will be contacted via email the Thursday prior to your experience to offer an alternate date for the class.

Dress Code

Covered footwear is required for the day.

Guidelines

  • Children under 12 need to be accompanied by an adult
  • Please remember you will be served premium alcoholic beverages so take care if driving after the class or get picked up
  • No group bookings

Cancellation

Once this experience has been confirmed changes are at the discretion of the experience provider and arranged directly with them according to this policy:

Rescheduling

  • Over 72 prior to the experience date: No charge
  • 72 hours until the experience date: $50 per participant fee to be charged to change the date. This will be the fee for fresh produce, already assigned to you.
  • No Shows and Late Arrivals: Participants forfeit their experience and therefore are not entitled to a refund or to re-book. Participants are advised to make their own insurance provisions in case of unforeseen circumstances.
