Take your chocolate obsession to the next level as you make gorgeous handmade chocolates during a fun-filled workshop. Under the guidance of a professional chocolatier, you'll learn how to temper chocolate, prepare ganache filling and make chocolate curls, and you'll take home everything you make!

An apron, gloves and a hat

Inordinately fond of chocolate? Learn how to make your very own perfect sugary bundles during this fun-filled workshop. Upon arrival, a professional chocolatier will talk you through the process of turning cocoa beans into a block of chocolate, whilst sharing the history of chocolate. You'll then take your place in the kitchen and begin to temper your chocolate, using only the highest-quality Belgian couverture chocolate. You'll make ganache filling, choose your own flavouring and pour it into moulds, plus indulge your creativity as you make little curls and other decorations for your sweet delights. By the workshop's end, you'll take home all your delicious creations

Session Length

This experience is four hours in duration
Available on selected Wed, Thurs and Fri from 6-10pm and on selected Sat from 2pm-6pm with occasional 9-1pm should afternoons be fully booked
Bookings are essential and are subject to availability

Guidelines

Best suited for people who are 14 years of age or older
However children as young as 12 years are welcome as long as they are accompanied by a paying adult

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Numbers on the Day

This voucher is valid for two people. There will be a maximum of 10 participants per class.

Weather

This experience takes place indoors and is therefore not affected by the weather.

Dress Code

Neat, casual and comfortable clothing is recommended. If you have long hair you will need to tie it back for the duration of the class. An apron, gloves and a hat will be provided on the day.

Delicious chocolate and lots of fun!

Upon walking into Sissy's chocolates, I was greeted with the delicious aroma of chocolate and Sylvia's friendly smile. The workshop was informative, fun, and engaging! I left feeling glad I committed to the 1hr 15 minute drive from where I live to attend the class. Feeling confident about my ability to make chocolate (thanks to Sylvia's excellent teaching) I even bought a chocolate making starter pack to dabble on my own. 10/10 experience.

I received a chocolate making voucher for Christmas from my husband and was finally able to do it. It was an incredible experience that I’ve been telling everybody about. I thought four hours would be a bit much, but the amount of information and learning packed in was amazing! I learnt so much, and I cannot wait to make my own chocolates for friends and family as gifts, and to make my own Nutella for my children.

Have nothing but positive things to say about this experience. I received this as a Christmas gift & loved every moment. Sylvia's passion and love for chocolate was evident throughout the workshop. She assisted everyone in the group to ensure everyone's chocolates were successful. The workshop does go longer than 4hrs, however it is worth every single moment! Her shop is set up with everything needed to recreate the chocolates made in the classes too.
