In our delicious Pizza Making Masterclass, you will learn the art to knowing exactly how to make mouthwatering, crispy Pizzas, every time you fire up the BBQ or Pizza oven! We will focus on the all-important dough and how to prepare and create the perfect base every time. We will learn how to make and create house made Ricotta and taste our very own house Smoked Bacon for your pizza. Feel proud as you indulge in a gourmet pizza dinner party - all cooked by you! Leave with confidence and the ability to recreate every time you have your friends and family over.

This hands-on cooking class will teach you the art of perfect dough creation and how to cook amazing pizzas on your BBQ or Pizza Oven, every time you get it on. We will learn how to make fresh Ricotta and prepare a range of toppings plus new skills to add to BBQ artillery and serve restaurant quality Pizzas at your next dinner party. The experience begins with a warm welcoming from your chefs, where you’ll be treated to a frosty beer or wine. You will learn valuable tips and tricks on kneading, knocking back, proving, brining, marinating and baking. We will even poach pears for your dessert pizza and be able to delight your guests every time. You will become the BBQ Master of all things Pizza.

This class runs for 3 hours
Class dates run all throughout the year, please see schedule for times and dates

Guidelines

It is recommended to wear covered shoes and comfortable clothing
Bookings are essential
Participants must be 12 years and over to join the session. Under 18s to be accompanied by an adult.
As this experience involve alcohol, photo ID may be required for under 18s

Cancellation

Over 7 Days (168 hours prior to the class time) Notice: No charge for rescheduling your booking.
7 Days to Within 72 hours (prior to the class time) Notice: $50 per person for rescheduling your booking. A replacement person can attend.
Within 24 hours of the day of your Session: Your ticket is forfeited, and you cannot reschedule your booking. A replacement person can attend.
No-Shows and Late Arrivals: Participants forfeit their experience and are not entitled to a refund or to re-book. Participants are advised to make their own insurance provisions in case of unforeseen circumstances.

Numbers on the Day

This class runs with a maximum of 12 and 16 people.

Spectators

The experience has a capacity of 16 pax and does now allow spectators in the session however they are more than welcome to join the session with you as a participant.

Weather

Under severe weather warnings (fire ban, rain, flooding and etc), we will notify all of the participants in advance.

Dress Code

Closed off shoes and weather-appropriate clothing.

This cooking class was a bit disappointing. The people running it weren’t very organised so we waited around a lot and didn’t really learn anything. They said they would show us how to make pizza on the BBQ and pizza oven, but forgot to use the BBQ. We weren’t offered any help or tips when having difficulty with the dough. We cooked a savoury pizza ourselves and then they cooked the dessert pizza for us. One dessert pizza was still raw dough inside and the other was burned. The intro about the cooks and company went for half an hour and there was also a lengthy sales pitch for products at the end. All in all, a disappointing and confusing experience.
