Charlie, Steph and Drew presented the Canberra class with very easy hands-on instruction. Our chef Drew, broached all questions and made so much sense. Exceeding expectations, we cooked lamb, steak and chicken and prepared garden salads all in the one exercise. I now have the confidence to cook for a crowd. It is excellent venue, fantastic and knowledgeable chefs, and came away with a lot of tips and tricks to make your BBQ skills that bit better. Great variety of meats and dishes. Best of all, you get to eat everything you cook in class! They advised by email it was unde shade but the small gazebo in the carpark only provided shade for half the participants. Course and food was ok but not worth $150. ★★★★★ ★★★★★ Terrible experience - not worth the money Ellie 12 February 2022 What was advertised as a BBQ and Beer learning experience was not that at all. The chef basically just cut up slabs of meat (unevenly), left us to grill our own steaks, and didn’t provide instruction or guidance at all. He talked about the meat a bit but that was it. As for the beers - he asked the venue what they had on tap and just ordered one of everything (there were three beers available). Said beers can complement or contrast with taste (no kidding?), and that was literally the extent of the “matching” experience. Absolutely terrible service and not at all what is advertised.
