In South American culture, sharing food with family and friends over a churrasco or charcoal BBQ is central, and it's a great way to have fun and party. Take part in this South American BBQ class, and you'll gain confidence in cooking with solid fuel and charcoal, learn how to effectively use slow cooking on skewers and create some of the best BBQ dishes in South America, including Brazilian, Argentinian, and Peruvian favorites. Plus, at the end of the class you'll get to enjoy what you make!

Menu (subject to seasonal change)

  • Chilean grilled fish wrapped in banana leaf with chili and lime
  • Argentinian carne asada with chimichurri - charcoal grilled Bass Strait Beef sirloin
  • Brazilian picanha - (beef rump cap)
  • Brazilian farofa and vinaigrette
  • Peruvian potato salad and huancaina

  • This experience is three hours in duration.
  • If you have dietary requirements, please notify experience provider once your booking has been confirmed
  • You must be 18+ years old to consume alcohol; photo ID may be required
  • Menu is subject to seasonal change
  • Over 7 Days (168 hours prior to the class time) Notice: No charge for rescheduling your booking.
  • 7 Days to Within 72 hours (prior to the class time) Notice: $50 per person for rescheduling your booking. A replacement person can attend.
  • Within 24 hours of the day of your Session: Your ticket is forfeited, and you cannot reschedule your booking. A replacement person can attend.
  • No-Shows and Late Arrivals: Participants forfeit their experience and are not entitled to a refund or to re-book. Participants are advised to make their own insurance provisions in case of unforeseen circumstances.

Classes usually have between 15 and 25 participants.

Participants are required to wear covered footwear.

Great hosts, info and food.

It was a great day and we learnt a lot. The recipes were interesting and the food was great after the cooking. The venue was a bit noisy, so hard to hear what was being said. However, I do have a hearing problem.
