Take a short trip to dreamy France with this French Bistro Cooking Class. This 3 hour class will have you whipping up delectable French treats such as crepes, tender duck salad and creme brulee in no time. Relaxed and unpretentious dining focusing on flavour are the hallmarks of this class.
Learn some of the classic French cooking techniques including sizzling thin, light pancakes in traditional cast iron French Crepe Pans, the technique of confit to produce meltingly tender duck, a flavourful ‘jus’ sauce and cooking rich egg ‘crème’ custard in a baine marie. Top it off by caramelising sugar to create a thin layer to crack through into pure decadence and an elegant compote of berries to finish off the experience.
Each class has up to 18 participants, with 2 teachers and a kitchen assistant.
This experience is not affected by the weather.
Flat closed in shoes must be worn for safety requirements.
Tree nuts| eggs| dairy| gluten present in class. Not suitable for Vegetarian diet.
From time to time photographs or videos may be taken in class and used for marketing purposes. Please make it known to staff if you would prefer not to be involved
Once this experience has been confirmed, changes are at the discretion of the experience provider and arranged directly with them according to this policy:
If less than 7 days notice from your class date: you are welcome to give to a friend
If more than 7 days notice from your class date: with a transfer fee of $20.00 you are welcome to attend an alternate class
Participants are advised to make their own insurance provisions in case of unforeseen circumstances
