Start your culinary journey learning about the common nutritional deficiencies found in a vegetarian diet and how to best avoid these mistakes. You will be given nutritional knowledge and cookery skills to ensure that the food you eat is well balanced to provide your body with optimal health. You will also learn about fortification and supplementation in packaged foods to ensure you are receiving the recommended daily intake of nutrients. Your curated recipes will be interesting and tasty as well offer variety to the often repetitive options available in vegetarian meals.

Those who would simply like to eat less meat will be accommodated for with recipes where meat can be added. All recipes have been developed by a team of professional nutritionists aUsing only fresh, locally grown produce, the recipes you will cook are seasonal and dependant on which ingredients are readily available at the market. This guarantees that the food cooked is not only fresh, delicious and nutritionally sound but also budget friendly. All recipes are nutritionally analysed and priced so you know exactly what goodness you are feeding your body and how much it will cost.

Along with some delicious food to taste you will receive a take home summary booklet with nutritional tips, recipes and strategies to have you eating healthier for life. Some of these recipes include mushroom pizza with roasted vegetables and basil, tomato, lentil and kale curry with zesty quinoa, and spinach, barley and cranberry salad.

Classes are small with a minimum of 5 per class and a maximum of 16 people.

Dress Code

Please wear casual and comfortable clothes as well as flat, closed in shoes.
