Depart at first light and enjoy the peace and tranquility of how quiet and calm it is at this time on magnificent Pittwater. Set off for the western foreshore as the soft morning colours start to filter through creating a silhouette of Barrenjoey Headland and the Norfolk Pines on Palm Beach.
Pausing to “raft up” along the way to keep the group together, you’ll learn about the local Aboriginal and European history of the area. Arriving at one of the picturesque beaches on the Western foreshore near day break, bask in the sun’s warming rays and soak up the atmosphere. You’ll think you’re on a deserted island.
Take a bushwalk in Ku Ring Gai National Park as the kookaburras welcome the morning sun. Once you arrive at the view point, marvel at the breathtaking views that unfold of Pittwater, Barrenjoey Head and Palm Beach. Enjoy a light snack before heading back to the beach for a well deserved swim in the calm, crystal clear water.

The provider may need to cancel tours due to bad weather, however, an alternative tour date can be arranged within the next 6 months of the cancelled date.
Clients should wear clothes that can get wet. Wear swimmers underneath with light weight quick dry clothing on top. Wear layers if it is cold and a spray jacket if it is windy or looks like rain. Bring sensible shoes for the bush walk. Bring a towel and change of clothes for once the tour is finished. Don't wear denim jeans or long pants.
Bring a drink bottle, sunglasses and wear sunscreen.
