He was so informative, knowledgeable and interesting! I learned things about Melbourne I never knew, from art to architecture to history to bird life to hidden bars(!) and got to see our adopted city from a totally new viewpoint. I row on the yarra, but had never been up past Southbank and down towards Port Melbourne - a totally new stretch for me. Seeing the sun go down while Melbourne started to illuminate as the night settled was quite magical! I actually didn’t want to do it because we have gone kayaking several times and in several places, but my husband insisted and I appreciate it because it was one of the best things we did during our trip in Australia!
