At the Northern end of the Noosa River system, perched within the sand dunes of the Cooloola National Park, you will find Australia's only Everglades. Here is where you will be able to cruise deep into the tranquil and mirrored waterways, a spectacular network of wetlands abundant with wildlife and offering unmatched photo opportunities. Immerse yourself in the natural beauty of this unique ecosystem, take a relaxing dip in the pristine waters, or simply sit back and soak it all in. With over 700 animals and about 1400 species of plants, chances are you won't see them all on one journey, but with your choice of staying onboard the Explorer Cruise with full commentary from experienced guides, or taking a canoe and exploring the area a little closer and at your own pace, you can sure give it a go.

Session Length

This experience is five hours in duration
Cruises depart every day of the year except Christmas day
Canoeing is five kilometres which takes approximately one hour

Guidelines

A low level of fitness is required
Minimum age is seven years (for the Canoe option)
Please ensure you contact Everglades Eco Safaris at least 48 hours prior to your tour commencing to reconfirm your booking and advise your pick-up location

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Maximum of 36 people per vessel.

Spectators

The vessel is fully enclosed and operates rail, hail or shine.

Dress Code

Casual and comfortable clothing is recommended.

Nice experience but a bit overpriced

It was a nice day out but quite overpriced for what we actually got. The canoes were quite difficult to paddle as well so a strong degree of fitness is required. More training on how to navigate the canoe would have been great. Morning tea wasn’t that good

Fabulous half day on the water

This was a great experience. Great to have the option of canoeing as well as enjoying the journey by boat. The day was beautiful which made it all the more enjoyable and you could jump in for a swim. Morning tea was amazing and skipper very knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend.
