Make the absolute most out of your day and visit a a unique paradise of golden beaches, rolling surf and beautiful fresh water lakes. This experience will see you take in the very best activities and scenery the western side of the beautiful Moreton Island has to offer. Jam packed full of fun, you will get to partake in all kinds of exhilarating activities on this world famous island. Beginning with an air-conditioned cruise across the magnificent Moreton Bay aboard the MiCat Ferry, complete with cafe and bar facilities, you will ease into your adventure with some time to relax on the beach and have some fun ton the sun.

Next, you will get to enjoy a fully guided snorkelling tour of the Tangalooma Wrecks (weather and tides permitting), where you will have the opportunity to spot sea turtles, dolphins and thousands of beautiful reef fish. After a sandwich lunch, you will get to paddle a transparent kayak to take in the hidden underwater wonders of the Tangalooma Wrecks, once again fully guided, where you will experience the awesome "fish frenzy". The day is far from over though, your next exhilarating experience will be reaching speeds up to 70 km/h whilst sand tobogganing, before transitioning into a 4WD "Tough Bus" and travelling the rugged 4WD tracks of Moreton Island to "The Desert".

End your day by swimming the crystal-clear beaches of Tangalooma Beach before returning to Brisbane in time for a well-earned evening meal.

Session Length

This experience is a full day in duration
The bus will depart the Brisbane Coach Terminal at approximately 7 am
The ferry departs Port of Brisbane at approximately 7:30 am
You will return to Brisbane at approximately 6:30 pm

This experience is no suitable for children aged three years and under.

Guidelines

This activity is not recommended for anyone with walking disabilities or using a wheelchair
National park fees of $85 per adult and $65 per child 13 years and younger are to be paid in cash to the driver on departure
An additional surcharge of $20 per person applies during public holiday periods (to be paid in cash to the driver on departure)
You will be informed of the exact tour departure time when you call to confirm your reservation

However due to the extreme nature of Moreton Island and weather unpredictability, activities are subject to tide, wind and weather factors, and cannot be held liable due to these factors. In cases of poor weather conditions, scenic island tour may be conducted in place of affected activities.

Dress Code

Please wear casual clothing, a hat, sunscreen and sunglasses. Bring a swimming costume and beach towel for water activities.

All dressed up and denied on our birthday

We booked everything through redballon. Arrived well before to wait in the "wrong area for tours" and finally get redirected. 30min later we are told even though it's booked for a date and paid for we aren't on their system. Use safari tours directly or you WILL NOT GET TO GO. My partners birthday is ruined its 8am and we have all our money invested in this package! Absolutely ridiculous.
