Paddle through Sydney Harbour in lit up kayaks and enjoy the brisk evening air while watching day become night. You'll have a fun filled, friendly, and safe kayak session with qualified guides as part of a small group of no more than 12 paddlers. Before you begin your session, your guides will give you a safety briefing and help you customise your equipment, ensuring you are confident and prepared.

Take advantage of photo opportunities with iconic landmarks like the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge and enjoy the absolute splendour that is Sydney Harbour at sunset. And, before the day is done, you will receive photos of your adventure sent via email.

Session Length

This experience is two hours in duration including a 90 minute kayak session.

Guidelines

Please note there are about 12 single kayaks for each experience
Paddle sessions are suited to all skill levels
Minimum age is 12 years old
For bookings of nine to 12 people, please contact the experience provider

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Weather

In unsuitable weather conditions the experience may be cancelled if safety is a concern, you will be contacted by the experience provider and rescheduled.

Dress Code

Please dress for the season and forecast. Wear layers in cooler months, bring spare clothes, shoes, a hat, sunscreen and a bottle of water.

Great experience on the Harbour

[Employee of redballoon] We did this as a group of friends and the experience was fantastic. The guides were amazing and the views were truly remarkable. It was the perfect balance of exercise, sight-seeing and commraderie. The entire experience was about 2+hours and we had a blast and took some amazing photos of the Opera House, the bridge and a stunning sunset.

This is absolutely worth doing! Add it to your bucket list or must do when visiting Sydney! From its winding foreshore, romantic architecture, and endless views of a beautiful harbour, it is like you are partaking in a living painting. A MUST DO!
