Jump on board the luxury catamaran for a sailing experience which is the perfect setting for a fun filled day out! Whether it’s an active day out with your loved one, or a family sailing adventure for a bit of relaxation, a sailing trip around Fremantle and to beautiful Carnac Island is the perfect setting for a relaxing few hours out on the water away from the hectic pace of modern life. Your vessel is a luxuriously appointed 43ft Schionning catamaran. The sailing excursion will take you through Cockburn Sound as we make our way to Carnac Island, home to a colony of sea lions and numerous sea birds.

Watch in wonder at the beautiful local coastline as you relax in comfort on this four hour sailing experience. You may even have a close encounter with a pod of frolicking dolphins. During the cruise, They'll provide light refreshments, filtered water, and tea or coffee. The Catamaran is stocked with all the crockery, cutlery and glasses you will need and for the more adventurous, they also carry two kayaks , a cargo net, a stand up paddle board and snorkelling equipment. As they are based out of Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour and usually return at 12.00pm, you can choose from a number of local restaurants for a delicious seafood lunch after your sailing tour.

Session Length

  • This experience is 4 hours
  • You need to be at the Sardine Jetty by 7.45am to board Capella for a 8am departure. You will arrive back at 12pm
  • Booking time will be confirmed by the provider
  • Available on certain dates September to April

Guidelines

  • Children 1 - 4 years free of charge but please contact us as there may be a hire fee for life jackets.

Cancellation

Once this experience has been confirmed changes are at the discretion of the experience provider and arranged directly with them according to this policy:

Rescheduling Requests for reschedules must be made in writing to info@charter1.com.au. Please quote your booking reference and requested changes. Please note only one reschedule will be allowed per booking and the following rules regarding advance notice apply: At least 72 hours notice: Permitted. Alternative date must be chosen at the time. Further changes are not permitted. 24-72 hours notice: Incurs a $25pp late change fee. Further changes are not permitted. Less than 24 hours notice: Not permitted.

Late Arrivals

  • If you miss the boat: You will have the opportunity to rebook once for a re-booking fee or $45pp

Supplier Cancellation: Charter 1 reserves the right to reschedule tours where minimum numbers are not met or when unsafe weather conditions are forecast, or on the rare occasion of mechanical failure. We will always try to give you as much notice as possible. The final decision is at the discretion of the skipper on the day. If your tour is cancelled by Charter 1 due to inclement weather (which is at the sole discretion of Charter 1), they will work with you to find an alternate suitable date, or an alternative experience of at least equal value, or organise a refund.

Numbers on the Day

This cruise runs with group sizes up to 24 people, this number can sometimes be higher.

Dress Code

Casual attire. Sailing can be a windy and wet experience. It is advisable to bring a windcheater or spray jacket and / or a warm pullover. Shoes with a good grip and preferably a white or light-coloured sole are best. Bare feet on deck. Bring along your bathers and a towel.

Other Info

Please note: Shoes are not allowed on deck, you are however welcome to wear them inside. Shorts or pants are the most comfortable option for sailing.
