What could be better than paddling on the smooth waters of Warren Reservoir in the Barossa Valley? Immerse yourself in nature and enjoy a relaxing two hour self guided kayak on the tranquil waters to explore the Barossa Valley's natural landscape at your own pace. Don't worry if you've never kayaked before or it's been a while. An accredited kayak instructor will be on deck to give you some simple paddling tips and tricks to get you started. No lifting or shifting is required. Your kayaks are conveniently set up on the shoreline ready to go. Just jump in your kayak, sit on and get ready to set sail for your peaceful adventure on the water reserve. As you explore the Reservoir, keep an eye out for a great variety of birdlife such as pelicans, cormorants, herons and spoonbills. You may even catch a glimpse of our native fauna such as kangaroos, emus and the resident koala, Benny!

The duration of this experience is 2 hours.

All children onboard our kayaks must be supervised by an adult at all times.

  • Participants must sign a waiver to kayak
  • Bookings are essential
  • Change your booking up to 24 before the start time of your experience
  • Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
  • Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Morning Kayaking around the reservoir

Such a simple process, kayaks were ready to go on arrival and the reservoir takes about 2 hours to paddle around. Beautiful being out on the water, lots of ducks 🦆
