  • Cruise the waters around Freycinet National Park by kayak
  • Explore the spectacular coastline around Coles Bay
  • Glimpse the stunning underwater world as you glide over reefs and sea grass beds

Imagine gliding on crystal clear water in a sea kayak through a landscape of pink granite mountains, sandy white beaches and blue waters so clear you feel you can touch the marine life below. Make this a reality on this Freycinet kayak experience!

What's included?

  • Kayak hire and equipment
  • Safety briefings and skills session

You will pass quietly by wildlife and perhaps see a majestic eagle as it soars above.

The guides love this beautiful part of the world and look forward to sharing its natural and cultural stories. Discover the history of secluded coves such as Honeymoon Bay, hear tales of French explorers and learn about the ancient culture of the Oyster Bay tribe. The waters of the Freycinet Peninsula are crystal clear, giving you a glimpse into the stunning underwater world as you glide over reefs and sea grass beds. Wonderful experience!

My husband and I were so fortunate to have the tour all to ourselves - along with our fantastic guide Abbey! Everything we needed was provided and we were able to really soak in the natural wonders of Coles Bay and Freycinet National Park. I can't recommend this tour highly enough. BIG thanks to Abbey for taking such good care of us and being so well-informed about the area.

Worth the views!

We had the greatest guide called James who made the entire experience worthwhile. He was a local boy with a great sense of humour and was very knowledgable about the local fauna and flora. We learnt about the local animals as well as the plants (Which we didn't expect). It was a great experience to kayak on the ocean and they had covers for your legs when sitting in the kayak so your legs didn't get wet or cop the cold wind. We are from a very hot town and we found the trip very comfortable considering it was very cold outside of the water. The stop at one of the beaches was sensational and we got a nice warm drink and cookie which was a neat addition. Would highly recommend

Fantastic tour that was informative, fun, and breathtakingly beautiful! The afternoon tea provided was a lovely surprise, as well as provision of clean fleece jumpers. (The staff of Freycinet Adventures were very kind in helping me find and collect an item of clothing lost after the tour too - much appreciated!)

Great fun kayaking

My wife and I loved our kayaking experience even though we were hopeless at it. the guides were wonderful, taught as a lot, & had a lot of laughs along the way. Hard work yet relaxing at the same time. Beautiful views the whole way. Felt very accomplished at the end.

The bestest experience!

Fantastic Freycinet Kayaking experience

Jaye 20 May 2021

Skills or no skills... it was all explained at the start as we donned the warm and waterproof gear that certainly kept us mostly dry and warm. The scenery, history, stories and local knowledge made it more than a just a mornings kayaking and the sudden appearance of a gourmet morning tea at one of the beaches we stopped at was a lovely surprise. This trip was awesome and highly recommended to everyone.

A fantastic experience paddling around Muirs Beach towards The Hazards and Freycinet Lodge. Although the conditions were choppy, we all had a wonderful time.
