This tour offers the ultimate experience for those who are short on time but want to explore the Gold Coast's beautiful waterways. With no experience required, the skilled staff will guide you through the activities while providing knowledge on the area and marine life. Departing from Broadwater, you’ll enjoy a 25 minute paddling session across to the famous Wave Break Island. After a short bush walk to the reef, you will snorkel among hundreds of tropical fish and a variety of sea life. Your tour guides will be on hand to capture the unforgettable moments while you enjoy the underwater world. Afterwards, enjoy a tasty snack while admiring the city skyline from afar. During your paddle back, you might be lucky to glide past dolphins and stingrays. A must-do activity while visiting the Gold Coast.

Session Length

This tour is available everyday at the meeting times are 7:30am, 10:30am & 1:30pm
Activity starts 30 minutes after
Kayak safety induction: 10 minutes
Paddling time during the whole trip: Approximately 50 minutes
Snorkeling/ relaxing time: Approximately 35 minutes
Snack time: Approximately 25 minutes
The tour duration is 2.5 hours

Tour not recommended during pregnancy, or if have any injuries or severe allergies
Minimum age: 4 years old

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

This tour is weather dependant and requires a minimum number of participants to operate. In the case this number is not fulfilled or weather is unfavourable, participants will be contacted and offered alternate rescheduling options.

Weather

This tour is affected by weather conditions. In the case the weather is not favorable, the provider will be in contact to cancel and offer options to reschedule.

Dress Code

Sunhat, sunscreen, sunglasses, towel, swimwear, protective UV+ clothing and appropriate shoes suitable for sand walking. No toilets available. Please bring a reusable water bottle (think green!) If you suffer from asthma, diabetes or allergies please bring your own medication. We do not require a printed voucher.

Definetely worth it!

I can’t recommended this tour enough! This tour is fantastic, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t really on our side and we were unable to complete the snorkelling aspect of this tour after the storms as the water visibility wasn’t on our side. However the staff were extremely helpful in making this the best experience. They provided us some snacks and were very helpful with their instructions as we hadn’t done it before. Definetely worth it!!

Caroline and Jane were fantastic, fun, and friendly and made sure everyone had fun and enjoyed it. I was a bit concerned when I booked it as they Don't have many reviews, but I'm so happy we did it with them. I hope my reviews help someone else too.

There were three of us (1 adult, 2 boys 11 & 14) and we had an amazing time, i paddled with the 11yo and the 14yo paddles by himself. The kayaking was easy going, and the snorkeling was really cool, lots of sea life and very calm waters. Would highly recommend. Great team, very good with everyone in the group.
