★★★★★ ★★★★★ Fun for the family Anthony 8 March 2022 We hired the open session double kayak at Shoalwater Bay. As we are local to the area we knew this spectacular part of the coast reasonably well. Having the double kayak to use for half the day was extremely fun for our family of four (two adults and two children aged 6 and 7). The operator we met for this trip was extremely patient and went through the various aspects of setting up the kayak with us. He also gave us a general description of what the winds were doing and based of that information suggested where we should head to first. While this info was not required for us the day, I can see it being useful for others who may be new to the region or kayaking in open waters. Equipment was not new, however, it was functioning perfectly and we spent many hours using the kayak with ease. The double kayak we used was fairly heavy and awkward to move by myself, however, when the wife was able to assist it was relatively easy. On the water it was no hassle at all. The kayak also had three hatches, with the centre one being water tight to store bags or a couple towels etc. I did not look into the other hatches, so they too may have been sealed from water.

Even so, easy to book and the people hosting the experience were friendly. Would definitely recommend it and go again.
