Pack your sense of adventure and get ready for a morning of fun and exercise on the water with experienced guides. Kayak, bush walk and swim in the stunning natural surroundings of Pittwater and Ku Ring Gai National Park. This is the local getaway you've been looking for!
After a quick kayaking lesson and safety brief, hit the water with your group and head for the remote western foreshore of Pittwater that is boat access only. Pause to raft up along the way, learn about the local Aboriginal and European history of the area. With any luck you'll see some of the local wildlife including dolphins, seals and turtles.
Arriving at a scenic beach, get ready for a bush walk through Ku Ring Gai National Park to breathtaking views over Pittwater, Palm Beach and Barrenjoey Headland. Explore a cave with Aboriginal artwork. Upon reaching the view point, you'll be amazed by the 180 degree views with time to take photos and enjoy a light snack.
Head back down for a well deserved swim and chill on this stunning little beach. You'll feel like you're on a deserted island. Paddle back across Pittwater ready for lunch at one of the local cafes or have a picnic in the park (at own expense).
There will be a maximum of 24 participants on the day.
The provider may need to cancel tours due to bad weather, however, an alternative tour date can be arranged within the next 6 months of the cancelled date.
Clients should wear clothes that can get wet. Wear swimmers underneath with light weight quick dry clothing on top. Wear layers if it is cold and a spray jacket if it is windy or looks like rain. Bring sensible shoes for the bush walk. Bring a towel and change of clothes for once the tour is finished. Don't wear denim jeans or long pants.Bring a drink bottle, sunglasses and wear sunscreen.
