Experience two wonders of south west WA during this combo tour! Journey through time and uncover the captivating history of Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse on a guided half hour tour. A knowledge guide will take you up the easy 59 stairs to the top of the lighthouse, sharing the maritime history of the Cape region along the way. Hear tales of shipwrecks off the coastline, stories of life as a lighthouse keeper, the navigation systems used and the importance of local ocean currents. You'll also learn more about the unique flora and fauna of the area. Stepping onto the balcony, be rewarded with stunning views of the Indian Ocean, Cape Naturaliste, Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park and Geographe Bay.
Then, head over to the crystallised underground wonderland of Ngilgi Cave. Hear stories of early exploration, caving by candlelight and romantic escapades from your expert guide as you make your way to Show Cave, where you're free to explore the allure of the cave at your own pace. Long pants, comfortable closed-toe shoes and a long sleeve top are essential for the Ngilgi Cave tour.
The cave environment can be quite humid. Asthmatics are advised to take extra care and be sure to bring along any medication.
