Exploring the powerful story of Bendigo's Chinese miners on an award winning three hour and 30 minute tour, led by a passionate local storyteller and guide. Be led through rare heritage sites of Dai Gum San, starting at the 1850s Chinese Diggings, where you can try your hand at gold panning with real gold bearing paydirt.
Wander through one of Australia’s most significant Chinese cemeteries, before visiting the oldest Chinese temple in its original site in regional Australia, the historic Chinese Joss House Temple. Relax with an included morning tea of delicious fresh scones at Omari Cafe, nestled among the Larni Garingilang Gardens. Then, conclude your journey at the Golden Dragon Museum and Yi Yuan Gardens, where you'll spot vibrant artefacts, silk regalia and the world's longest Imperial Dragon.
