Join in on this guided eco tour through the calm, clear waters of the Great Sandy Marine Park. Discover the coral reef either from the comfort of the Milbi through the glass bottom, or try your hand at snorkelling. Just 15 minutes from the harbour, view the fish habitat amongst the reef, turtles dolphins, dugongs sea birds and more. Visit nearby Islands with direct beach access. Have a swim, or just relax on the sandy shores.

Snorkeling equipment will be provided, offering you the ultimate experience of coming face to face with the infinite wonders of the marine park. You are likely to see fish habitat amongst the coral reef, turtles, dolphins, sea bird colonies, and possibly a reef shark or dugong.

There will be plenty of time to explore Round Island as well as enjoy a healthy lunch. Conditions permitting, you may visit spectacular Pelican Banks, famous for its crystal clear waters which are perfect for swimming or just relaxing on the white, sandy shores.

Restrictions

Your safety is the number one concern; snorkelling over the reef is subject to tidal conditions that are determined whilst on the tour.

Eco Tour Hervey Bay, great day out very relaxing

We had a relaxing day with Eco tours. Marine life wasn't cooperative today but the stop at Pelican Bank certainly made up for it. Shallow blue water, white sandy beach. Lots of fruit and muffins for afternoon tea. Thanks for a relaxing day out.

Unfortunately despite weather predictions it rained for the entire trip leaving us cold and wet! Other than that, the food was good, the hosts were informative and helpful and although we didn’t see turtles, dolphins were a nice surprise. My only criticism was that no beverages were offered or mentioned. Would love to go again in better weather.

Unfortunately due to the weather we never made it out to turtle island. The crew did their best but we didn’t really get to see or experience what the tour had to offer, which was a little sad.
