A knowledge guide will take you up the easy 59 stairs to the top of the lighthouse, sharing the maritime history of the Cape region along the way. Hear tales of shipwrecks off the coastline, stories of life as a lighthouse keeper, the navigation systems used and the importance of local ocean currents. You'll also learn more about the unique flora and fauna of the area. Stepping onto the balcony, be rewarded with stunning views of the Indian Ocean, Cape Naturaliste, Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park and Geographe Bay.
