Take to the skies and discover the unmatched beauty of Porcupine Gorge, an impressive canyon that has been carved into the landscape by the eroding action of Porcupine Creek over 500 million years. Be in awe as you gaze at the vibrantly coloured sandstone cliffs and lush forests from above.
Affectionately known as 'Australia's little Grand Canyon,' Porcupine Gorge is an extraordinary canyon home to contrasting towering sandstone cliffs and sparsely forested flat plains. These sedimentary rocks, more than 500 million years old, were carved by the eroding action of Porcupine River. Departing from Porcupine Gorge Camping Ground, you will take the skies to admire the unmatched beauty that this landscape has to offer. You will fly over the upper end of the basalt capped sandstone rock formation, which is an area only seen from above. In the wider section of the gorge, you will see the 'Pyramid', an isolated pillar of coloured sandstone shaped as its name suggests. As you are taken on your final sweep of the canyon, you will continue to uncover the magical qualities of this truly unique location.
A minimum of two (2) passengers per aircraft is required for scenic flights. Private tours can be created with prior notice. Individual Passenger weights must be advised at time of booking and maximum seat weight of 125 kg applies. Variations in advised weight greater than 10% above may incur full 100% cancellation charge.
A minimum of two passengers are needed on each flight and there is a maximum of three passengers per flight. Private flights can be arranged with the provider with notice.

All tours are subject to aircraft availability and weather conditions. Flight paths may vary due to seasonal conditions and are at the pilot's discretion. The pilot may terminate the flight at any time where safety conditions dictate. In the event that the experience provider cancels/postpones any flight(s) due to adverse weather conditions, you will be rescheduled by the experience provider.
Closed in footwear, a cap and sunglasses are recommended.
