See all the wonders that make the Barossa Valley so special from birds-eye view during a 15 minute scenic flight. After a safety briefing, head into the helicopter and take off on an exciting and awe-inspiring adventure. Each passenger will be treated to window seat, boasting incredible views of the world below. Departing over Hoffnungsthal Valley, your pilot will take you over Rowland Flat, affording you with blanket views of Jacobs Creek Winery's 'tank farm,' with some tanks holding up to 1.4 million litres of wine.

Continue down the southern end of the Barossa, past Lyndoch near Cockatoo Valley, over the Whispering Wall and following up the stream to the South Para and Warren Reservoirs. You'll then circle back to the starting point via Williamstown, capturing splendid views of the rolling hills and lush vineyards of the southern Barossa Ranges.

Important information

  • This flight is 15 minutes in duration
  • Available seven days a week from 10am to 3.30pm
  • Not available Good Friday and Christmas Day
  • Selfie sticks, hats, bags and loose items are not permitted on the flight
  • Please don't wea headscarves unless for religious reasons, it must be pinned on
  • Maximum individual weight of 130kg
  • Maximum combined weight of all passengers 270kg
  • All passengers will be weighed on the day of travel
  • Anyone over 130kg will be unable to fly
  • Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
  • Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
  • Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

The helicopter can accommodate up to three people. However, this is a private tour.

As you step out of the reception into the pergola area, there are tables and chairs for family and friend to relax while their loved ones take a flight.

Flights do not operate in heavy rain or low cloud.

Bring a camera, phone and sunglasses.

We cant recommend this experience enough! we had so much fun flying over the Barossa, and the Heli was super fun! We learnt so much as well. If you're looking for a great way to start your stay in the Barossa definitely do this. Still Smiling from our morning!
