Elevated over 1km of the picturesque Maryvale, you will have up to two hours to dine in their award-winning restaurant. Best of all, your helicopter will be ready when you are. With a quick text message your pilot will get the aircraft ready for the return flight. Enjoy a scenic journey back to Archerfield Airport and be amazed by the breathtaking mountainside beneath you.

Please allocate four hours for this experience
Total flight time is approximately 1.2-1.5 hours

Restrictions

Because of its remote location all guests arriving by helicopter are required to have lunch at the venue. This is an amazing 5 course set menu starting at $165pp.

Guidelines

This experience is not suitable for infants
Please contact RedBalloon if passengers are over 100kg
Participants can choose to stay longer at Spicer's Peak Lodge for an extra $90 per hour
Please note: All food, drink and day spa treatments are an additional expense

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Numbers on the Day

This is a private flight for two people. In some cases the provider may allow a third person, however due to elevation of Spicer's Peak and extra fuel requirements this sometimes may not be possible. Please contact RedBalloon if you intend on taking a third person with you.

Spectators

Spectators are welcome at either Archerfield Airport or Spicer's Peak Lodge. Please advise the operator if they need to book a lunch for more than two people.

Weather

If weather affects the safety of the flight, provider will notify the customer and offer to reschedule free of charge. Provider will inform of any of these changes as far in advance as possible.

Dress Code

Dress comfortably with closed-in shoes.

Unforgettable experience!

Do not have words to describe how amazing this experience was. Niko, the helicopter pilot was polite, informative and very professional. The flight over to Spicers was very scenic and beautiful. We were awaited by friendly staff at Spicers Peak Lodge where my husband and I sat down and had lunch. We were then flown back 2 hours later back to Brisbane. Just the perfect amount of time to spend at the beautiful Spicers Retreat and a perfect experience all up. 5 stars from me and would highly recommend!

An amazing way to celebrate a special occasion

We loved every minute of our helicopter tour to Spicers Peak Lodge for lunch. Niko our pilot was excellent and very accommodating. He even went so far as to take some great photos and send them to us. We would highly recommend the tour and will be booking another one for sure.
