Embark on an exciting and memorable helicopter flight over the Wollongong region. As the helicopter climbs up and away from base, take in beautiful views of Lake Illawarra and the city beneath you. Cruise past the coast and discover miles of golden sand beaches from the north to south. Away from the coastline is the escarpment of the Great Dividing Range, Mount Kembla and Mount Keira. Your friendly pilot will offer engaging insight about the area and its ancient Aboriginal history.

South Coast Waterfalls Brilliant

Great experience. Our pilot was friendly and knowledgeable about the area and pointed out other landmarks that put the whole area into perspective from the air. i would recommend the experience to friends and family and also repeat at a later date.

Our pilot Maddie was outstanding and provided us with an amazing experience. Touchdown are so professional and reassuring - the flight over the escarpment to the waterfalls was perfect taking in the stunning countryside around Kiama and the Highlands. We had an amazing helicopter trip with Madi our pilot. We were able to see our hometown in Wollongong from a new vantage point. My wife and I enjoyed the trip so much that we will be booking another trip for a birthday.

Perfect Wedding Anniversary

I booked this as a surpise guft for my husband. At the last minute I changed from sea cliff bridge to the waterfall tour and it was really, really nice. We had nice weather and was able to see all the waterfalls, the ocean and farms over jamberoo. I was really nervous and the pilot did make me feel at ease. I would've loved a bit more talking on the mic with some history of the town or some facts to calm the nerves a little but overall my husband loved it so was a perfect surpise. 30 mins goes fast but is perfect time. The chopper was smaller than I expected but you can see a lot from the windows.

Bit of a delay in the beginning with the booking but our pilot definitely made up for it with the extra flight over the coast of Kiama. I absolutely loved, my wife was very scared but seeing the ocean made it worth while.

Tim (our pilot) was very encouraging to us, as we were a little bit nervous, (first time in a helicopter), he gave very precise instructions and made us very comfortable. His knowledge of the area was also very good, explaining landmarks etc. We are looking forward to booking a coastal flight. We highly recommend Touchdown helicopter, all their staff were very friendly.
