Take to the skies for an incredible helicopter flight over the Illawarra Escarpment. Minutes after take off, you'll track towards the mountain ranges. Turning south, continue to follow the rocky cliff edges of the Great Dividing Range towards Jamberoo mountain and the ancient aboriginal bushlands of Barren Grounds Nature Reserve. Flying over Cooks Nose walking track, next on the itinerary is the beautiful Gerringong Falls, a 90 metre vertical drop as the Gerringong Creek plummets over its cliff edge. As you follow the Upper Kangaroo Valley River, the valley closes in and terminates as a narrow gorge at Carrington Falls. The top is about 550 metres above sea level and the pool at the base is 90 metres below. From Carrington Falls, you will meander back towards base taking a diversion over Macquarie Pass National Park. As you fly overhead, just about visible beneath the rainforest is the tumbling Macquarie Rivulet. Then looking up, the whole of the Illawarra is laid out before you.

Spectators

Spectators can watch you from the comfortable reception lounge overlooking the helipad. Tea and coffee facilities are available for all visitors.

In the interest of safety, all tours and charters operate weather pending. Wet weather cancellation can only be called by the experience provider.

Great experience. Our pilot was friendly and knowledgeable about the area and pointed out other landmarks that put the whole area into perspective from the air. i would recommend the experience to friends and family and also repeat at a later date.

Perfect Wedding Anniversary

I booked this as a surpise guft for my husband. At the last minute I changed from sea cliff bridge to the waterfall tour and it was really, really nice. We had nice weather and was able to see all the waterfalls, the ocean and farms over jamberoo. I was really nervous and the pilot did make me feel at ease. I would've loved a bit more talking on the mic with some history of the town or some facts to calm the nerves a little but overall my husband loved it so was a perfect surpise. 30 mins goes fast but is perfect time. The chopper was smaller than I expected but you can see a lot from the windows.

Bit of a delay in the beginning with the booking but our pilot definitely made up for it with the extra flight over the coast of Kiama. I absolutely loved, my wife was very scared but seeing the ocean made it worth while.

Tim (our pilot) was very encouraging to us, as we were a little bit nervous, (first time in a helicopter), he gave very precise instructions and made us very comfortable. His knowledge of the area was also very good, explaining landmarks etc. We are looking forward to booking a coastal flight.
