Curious of what the Newcastle coastline looks like from above? This flight is the perfect opportunity to get a glimpse of it. You will start off by heading out over the coal loaders and out to Nobby's Lighthouse. As you exit the harbour, watch on as the coal ships move in and out. Cruising along the coast around Newcastle and Merewether, down past Glen Rock Lagoon, spot any wildlife that many be enjoying the aqua playground below. Then, you will round the headland to find the sandy shore of Redhead Beach, down along Seven Mile and into Lake Macquarie. From there you will be able to take in the ever growing city of Newcastle and the suburbs hugging the largest inland salt water lake in the Southern Hemisphere. Around Newcastle you will see Broadmeadow Racecourse, McDonald Jones Stadium, Blackbutt Reserve and so much more.

Everything went smoothly from the second we walked through the doors. Thorough safety briefing before the flight with a quick transition into the helicopter. It was a very good day for flying which made the views along the coast look perfect. Even though it’s a short flight I would still highly recommend.

The expiration of the voucher was amazing! I was not rushed to book. When I booked, it was done on line and so simple, and quick! Location was easy to find, loads of convenient parking. Staff were there and ready! We were met with a friendly greeting. The safety induction was quick and easy. Erin our pilot, introduced herself. She was happy, bubbly and could soon tell I was beyond nervous (more freaking out than nervous). She knew all of the local area, was personable during the flight. The helicopter was clean & tidy, Erin knew what she was doing. We covered more area than I expected too. From the port, kotara, Charlestown, new lambton, John Hunter, whitebridge, and the. Up along the coast over the stunning beaches. Breathtaking views. Thank you so much Erin! It might not have seemed like it, but I did enjoy it!
