Ditch technology and reset your batteries during this three day escape in the Victorian High Country. Over the course of the retreat, you will engage in a number of group and individual reflective activities and opportunities to help you reconnect with yourself and nature, as well as 4WD sightseeing and an optional scenic hike tour. Your disconnect from reality will be taken one step further as you camp in swags under star-dusted skies. Feel enchanted as you gaze above at millions of stars not dimmed by light pollution. You'll also experience a taste of the Aussie bush with a delicious BBQ and billy tea provided on one night, and a classic campfire roast and damper on the other. Stepping away from technology may be all you need. Perfect for corporate, family or individual retreats.

  • Minimum age is 12 years. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian
  • Medical, dietary requirements and waiver forms must be completed prior to retreat
  • Exact campsite location to be determined, based upon the conditions of the day
  • Moderate level of fitness required for those wishing to undertake the 12km hike option
  • Please travel lightly and pack one small carry on or duffel bag due to limited storage in the vehicle
  • No alcohol will be served or consumed during the experience, except for lunch on the final day, at a licensed facility


Once this experience has been confirmed, changes are at the discretion of the experience provider and arranged directly with them according to this policy:

  • More than 14 days prior to departure: No fee to change the dates
  • Between 7-14 days prior to departure: A 25% admin fee will be charged
  • Between 48 hours and 7 days prior to departure: A 50% admin fee will be charged
  • Less than 48 hour prior to departure: A 100% admin free will be charged

Numbers on the Day

Minimum of four and a maximum of six participants.


If you choose to travel between October and April, the days will be warm to hot, but the nights can be very cold without cloud cover. If you choose to travel between May and September, the days are mild and the nights very cold. This is also the wet season in the High Country and can be subject to extreme conditions. Regardless of the time of year, the weather in the High Country can change quickly. If your experience is cancelled before departure, you will be provided with the opportunity to transfer your trip to a later date.

Dress Code

A full equipment and clothing list will be issued upon confirmation of your experience date. Generally, these include comfortable shoes/socks, long pants, jacket, toiletries, pillow and various other clothing and personal items. Weather can change quickly, so packing for all conditions is recommended.

Other Info

Due to hygiene requirements, participants must provide their own sleeping bag (-5 degree rating or better). You can purchase a sleeping bag from the provider at a small additional cost. Given the nature of the retreat, all participants are asked to leave technology at home, with the exception of a phone (to be switched to airplane mode) or camera. Kindles or eReaders are accepted.
