Spread out over 6000 acres, Turon Gates Eco Retreat offers horse riding and canoe hire, or choose to reconnect over simple activities like bushwalking, swimming, fishing, gold panning and stargazing. With no mobile phone reception, TVs or Wi-Fi, sit back and enjoy the serenity of the great Aussie bush and perhaps bring some marshmallows to roast around your private campfire.

This accommodation is not suitable for wheelchairs as there are stairs. You will need a vehicle to access this experience. You agree to any cleaning, breakage or damages to property belonging to or leased by Turon Gates.

Four guests and one dog is included in the price. Any extra people would be at an additional charge of $33 per person per night - can cater to up to eight guests. Guests below the age of two years are free of charge.
This experience is not suitable for spectators.

It is recommended to wear casual, warm clothing as the weather can be cooler in the mountains. Do bring personal sunscreen, toiletries etc. Some people like to bring marshmallows for roasting on the fire, torches, picnic rugs, pillows and water toys.
There is a general store for basic food supplies and a bottle shop at Capertee. If driving from Sydney, it would be better to buy supplies from a supermarket in Lithgow or Katoomba as there is more choice.
