★★★★★ ★★★★★ Beautiful location and area - food disappointing Ingrid 3 April 2022 Loved the location and surroundings. The tents were great, with a beautiful view of the mountain. The area had lots of good hikes and wildlife. Unfortunately the food experience was not that great. When we arrived at the restaurant I needed a voucher I didnt even receive when checking in, and had to go all the way back to our tent to get my phone and proof of booking. When ordering, there were good selections, and we could get a starter, a main and dessert. The restaurant is very outdated, and has no atmosphere, sad as the sorroundings are beautiful and there is so much potential. The food was a big disappointment, kangaroo salad was just meat, some couscous and basic bagged salad with no flavour or nice dressing. The mains were undercooked, both the veggies and the meat were raw and we had to order a new meat. No sauces or spices on the veggies/puree. Dessert was a storebought cake. Same disappointment for breakfast when the mushrooms were served raw and eggs were still with raw eggwhites. Both the free and paid coffee options tasted bad. Would definitely come back to camp there but would rather cook my own food.

Dinner menu was great and had a wide range of very tasty dishes. The scenery was out of this world, with lots of walking, hiking or driving option.
★★★★★ ★★★★★ Safari tent furry room mate Emily 24 May 2019 We stayed in safari tent 2 last night. The view from the tent was great, lots of greenery and kangaroos right outside the tent. The inside of the tent gave a nice cozy vibe and I was impressed with the en-suite. However after settling in we saw a noise scamper across the bed. After that he stayed behind the fridge and we would hear some scampering and speaking every now and then. Luckily we weren’t overly bothered by his presence although I don’t know if all guests would be the same...for the price of the experience I would’ve hoped for a critter free room.
