Journey to the farthest reaches of northern Australia and discover an untouched island oasis rich in Aboriginal culture and history. Spend time with the traditional Yolngu owners and learn about their traditional methods of living and for the final night, glamp beside world-class beaches.
East Arnhem Land, located in the farthest reaches of remote northern Australia, is a vast and unspoilt tropical paradise, home to the Yolngu people for millennia. Discover its incredibly rich Aboriginal culture and rugged wilderness during a six day adventure, which takes you to various homelands. Over the trip, you will learn about their traditional methods of living, from hunting and gathering to painting and weaving, as well as gender roles and responsibilities, kinship and moiety and the history of the region. Day two brings you to the Yirrkala community and its world-famous art gallery featuring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artworks. The final day is spent on Bremer Island, where you'll glamp beside world-class beaches, before returning back to the mainland the following day. Every evening, you'll sit around the campfire with the traditional owners for the unique opportunity to hear the songs, music and stories of the land.

East Arnhem Land experiences year-round high temperatures, with December to February often reaching over 35 degrees. Take precautions against the sun all year round, such as wearing a hat, sunglasses and long-sleeves, using sunscreen, staying hydrated and in the shade during the heat of the day.
