Led by Delta Kay, a passionate Arakwal Bundjalung woman, you'll explore significant sites, learn local history and hear traditional stories. The tour offers opportunities to learn the Bundjalung language and gain insights into bush food, natural medicine, tools, weapons, and artefacts.
You'll hear about Aboriginal life before colonisation, including how the Arakwal Bundjalung people cared for and preserved the land. Delta also discusses the profound impact of settlement and displacement on Aboriginal communities.
As the tour unfolds, guests may encounter an array of wildlife, from dolphins to wallabies and Fairy Wrens. This experience offers a deep connection to the land and its rich cultural heritage.
