Discover the Kuku Yalanji people's inextricable connections to country, the environment and culture during this half day tour. As you stroll along coastal habitats, learn about different foods and medicine, try your hand at spear throwing, sample bush tucker and explore the Daintree Rainforest.
Originating from the rainforests of Far North Queensland, the Kuku Yalanji people have been living in harmony with the environment for over 50,000 years. Discover their inextricable links to country, culture and history during this half day tour. Led by local Aboriginal guides, you will spend the morning or afternoon wandering along the coastal habitats learning about different foods and medicine, collecting shellfish, sampling some bush tucker and trying your hand at spear throwing where you might be lucky and catch a mud crab. Later, immerse yourself in the southern Daintree Rainforest and cool off in a freshwater stream.
Please allow half a day for this experience.
Minimum of two and maximum of 10 participants.
