This is your opportunity to fly doors off, camera and smartphone in hand over one of the world’s most photogenic cities, Sydney. You'll learn tips and tricks from the pilots as they guide you and your lens to new heights.

Sydney is so often referred to as one of the most photogenic cities in the world and this is the perfect opportunity to capture all of it’s beauty from an incredible perspective.

Jump aboard a helicopter - doors off - and take to the skies above for a scenic flight over Sydney Harbour and it’s stunning beaches. Includes use of a Canon 6D camera plus lens for each partipiant, with guidance, you'll shoot incredible photographs of this iconic Sydney. Your pilot is also a aerial photographer - so you'll get assistance on how to get the perfect shot!

The helicopter doors are off so you can shoot like the professionals. A 'doors-on' option is also available. This option still allows you to shoot great content as the door has a full slide down media window.

Please bring a hard drive or large USB with you (so you can transfer the images after the flight) - USB's are also available to purchase on the day.

Session Length

  • The flight time is 30 minutes
  • Please allow 1.5 hours for the entire experience

Guidelines

  • Seat and total weight limitations apply for all flights
  • Please advise of each participants weight at the time of booking
  • Minimum age is 16 years if accompanied by an adult
  • All door off operations are at the discretion of the flight commander
  • Participants must have an alcohol-blood reading below .05. You may be breathalysed prior to boarding and anyone over the limit will not be permitted on the aircraft
  • Not suitable for pregnant women
  • Participants must have a general level of health and fitness with the ability to enter and exit the aircraft independently
  • Participants with the following conditions should consult the experience provider prior to booking: heart conditions, physical injuries, vertigo, history of mental illness or a history fits or seizures
  • Individual passengers in excess of 100kg per person may incur an additional fee

Cancellation

Once this experience has been confirmed, changes are at the discretion of the experience provider and arranged directly with them according to this policy:

From April 1 to August 31 cancellation by passengers within seven days prior to the departure date or a no show on the day will incur a 100% cancellation fee and forfeiture of the seat/s.

From September 1 to March 31 cancellation by passengers within fourteen days prior to the departure date or a no show on the day will incur a 100% cancellation fee and forfeiture of the seat/s.

If you wish to postpone your flight for any reason outside the cancellation times listed above, then please make contact with the experience provider and they will accommodate you.

It is a requirement that when a third party (non-flying) person is purchasing a gift certificate or seat/s, that they also accept the above financial and timing conditions on behalf of the recipient/s. We will not enter into negotiation on these or any of our other conditions with the purchaser of a gift certificate, a gift certificate recipient, passengers or any third party agents.

Passengers who fail to show for the flight (or are late for any reason, thus causing us operational difficulties. i.e Holding up other passengers or potentially causing us to be delayed for other flights) will incur a 100% cancellation fee and will forfeit/invalidate the right to rebook - It is an absolute requirement that passengers arrive a minimum of 30-minutes before the flight time. If you are unsure of your flight time post booking, we encourage you to make contact, (especially if you have been re-booked because your initial flight time was postponed due to weather or other operational reasons).

Numbers on the Day

There is a maximum of 3 photographers per flight.

Weather

In the event of rain or inclement weather your experience will still go ahead unless contacted by the experience provider. The call on the weather is at the absolute discretion of the pilot. On occasion, delays can occur for reasons beyond control (i.e. passing storm / ATC or operational considerations). On these occasions the provider may exercise a “60-minute wait window”. This means that they will reserve the right to make a decision to fly for up to 60 minutes, in this time period the original booking and all the terms & conditions still apply. Please allow for this contingency with your schedule.

Dress Code

Smart casual with closed shoes (no thongs/flip flops).

Other Info

Please bring a hard drive or large USB with you (so you can transfer the images after the flight) - USB's are also available to purchase.
