Do you love to travel and feel like what you see is not always what you capture? If so, this photography course will be the perfect stepping stone to learn the technical and creative possibilities of your digital camera. Learn to shoot in manual mode and capture your surroundings in a whole new way!
This workshop is perfect for beginners who want to learn more about the technical and creative possibilities of their digital camera. Your professional tutor will start the day by explaining the 11 elements and principles of composition, shutter speed, ISO, aperture, colour temperature and using basic flash, all of which are valuable assets when creating stunning travel images.
Once you start feeling more comfortable about the settings on your camera, you will take to the streets of Brisbane to begin taking some amazing landscape shots. Along the way you'll stop to try different techniques such as adjusting shutter speeds on moving subjects like bikes, cars and people, and achieving shallow or great depth of field. Leave with a new found confidence to shoot in manual mode and a bunch of beautiful images that you're proud of!
Participants aged between 12-15 years old will need written permission from an adult on the day of their workshop.
