Great facilitator, learned so much, very enjoyable

Jay 17 August 2024

Although a rainy day in Melbourne, this was still one of the best days I've spent in the city! I learned so much in such a short space of time. Guy, the facilitator was very warm and friendly and took time out with everyone to understand their ideal outcomes.

Fabulous intro to manual photography

Helen 10 March 2024

We squeezed so much into a two hour class. Guy has an amazing teaching style which translates into better images by making mistakes and learning from those mistakes by adjusting the most appropriate camera settings according to location, lighting and subject. Could not recommend this workshop more highly for those brave enough to move beyond the auto settings of your camera.

Better than I thought and I feel like a Pro now

Den 23 February 2020

Put down that camera manual and book yourself a session now. This made so much more sense than the manual could ever do. The person taking the class was great, knowing every answer to all the questions and also spent the time with you to explain everyone's questions. She did not just fluff by any question. She knew how to use all the cameras that were in the group. showed us short cuts on the camera, always handy. There was not as much walking as i thought so we spent more time learning then walking. She even went on to answer our questions once the course as over. Only downside was the noise. But that's Melbourne. The best ever!!

Friendly staff

Bec 18 January 2020

A fantastic half day really getting to grips with our DSLRs and mirrorless cameras! Our host Krystal was phenomenal and so very knowledgeable. She was patient, friendly and knew about every camera within the group! We were given plenty of time to practice the theory and our new skills learnt, I’d be happy to pay for a whole days course!

Krystal was fantastic, very patient and taught the workshop at a good pace, making the technical stuff easy to understand.

Excellent summary of manual camera settings

Lyndon 15 January 2019

Covered exactly what it said - manual camera modes like shutter speed, aperture, iso, and how they impact your photography. Our tutor was excellent; knowledgeable but good at communicating in simple terms, friendly, good at giving time to all group members. It doesn't cover a huge physical distance (so don't worry about having to walk far, but also don't expect to go all over Melbourne) but uses the on lots of photography exercises with instruction and feedback.
