What's included?

3 hour beginners photography course

This course is designed for beginners with any camera and will teach you how to take spectacular photos. Have fun learning how to take stunning photos while exploring lots of photogenic locations! You will learn some easy composition skills and be given an understanding of how to shoot under different lighting conditions. This is a fun, practical course without any of the technical jargon.

If you would like to improve your photography but don't want a complex course, this is the perfect course.

Session Length

This experience runs for 3 hours
This course runs from 10am - 1pm on select days

Guidelines

Please remember to bring your own digital camera with a fully charged battery and an empty memory card with you on the day.

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 7 days before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 7 days of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Numbers on the Day

This workshop runs with a minimum of 4 people and maximum of 8 people. If minimum numbers are not met we will reschedule the course.

Weather

This experience will run indoors and in undercover locations if the weather conditions are wet. If severe weather is forecast we may reschedule the course.

Dress Code

Comfortable walking shoes.

Could not fault the knowledge or experience of Robert. Started with overly technical explanations which I didn't follow as well as I would have liked...but, then got into the practical side of beginners photography. Excellent. Things I learnt will stay with me forever. Would like a hand out to take away with the theoretical concepts covered as there was too much to take in and remember. Visited some places I didn't know existed but they had excellent photo subjects. The variety of sites visited was exceptional. A very enjoyable tme.

Doing the beginner course was a wealth of information. Rob was very informative and helpful. I have been interested in photography for many years and learnt so much from doing this course. I would be keen to book a night course. We went to ctiy hall but did not go up the bell tower which would have been good. I would recommend anyone do this course. It is a good starting point for taking better photos.

This session with Robert was very informative. I have been taking photos for many years, mostly using full auto settings simply because i didn't understand how to program the camera settings. Robert was able to help everyone in the group get an understanding of some of the settings on their cameras and how they can help you to get that image that is a bit special. Very rewarding experience, totally enjoyed it and also got to see a bit more of Brisbane.

The course was very well structured and presented. Not too much technical stuff to confuse you. Apart from the whole camera experience it was very enjoyable wandering the streets of Brisbane CBD (as I don't get in there too often) and meeting fellow buffs as well.
