Take your digital photography to the next level with this workshop held on the beach at sunrise! Yes, it's an early wake up but you'll be rewarded with some of the most fantastic photos you've ever taken! With a small class size and an award-winning professional photographer as your tutor, you will capture some amazing nature shots accented by the gorgeous colours of the sunrise. For anyone who has a Smartphone, this is a great way to pick up some more skills in terms of image creation, this is a great way to pick up some more skills in terms of composition, composure plus learn creative white balance techniques that will take your photography from good to 'wow'!

All you need to do this course is your Smartphone.

Please allow 2 hours for this experience
Available on Sunday mornings from 6am-8:30am
Times are variable in summer

Guidelines

There are no restrictions but participants should be aware that there is walking in sand involved
No age restriction

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Numbers on the Day

Maximum of 10 participants with one professional instructor. Minimum numbers of four must be met for this class to go ahead.

Weather

The experience is weather dependent. Participants are requested to bring their own rain protection if necessary. A weather check is done the night before and early morning of the course, if rain prevents the start of the experience, it will be postponed to the the next available time.

Dress Code

Please be aware your footwear will get sandy.

Worth getting up early for

My photography lesson with Scott was great. He was very informative and extremely patient. The lesson went so fast and made using manual mode on my camera a must for the future.

The sunrise at the beach (fabulous Manly beach!) photography workshop was a fantastic way to start the day. Great instruction in the art of photography, and lots of great tips and suggestions to take away. I learned heaps. Definitely worth getting up early for!

Scott was fantastic showing me all different setting for the camera and what settings are for the best situation. The venue was stunning watching the sun rise at Manly and I was able to get some great shots. Scott is great fun and ensures everyone is being looked after and having a great time.

Was a spectacular way to start a Sunday morning although I was running late Scott McHale was eager to catch me up on what I had missed out on went out of his way for all the participants a informing and educational morning..... would recommend it to anybody to give a go....

Very early stsrt at 4:30am. The workshop leader (Scott) wss very knowledgeable and made sure every attendee was informed and involved. We were taken to 3 different locations under different lighting conditions that made the workshop challenging and full of interest.

I can't rate this workshop high enough. Scott is excellent. A great teacher and communicator. Explains things simply and logically to ensure students get the best possible results. Very well organised. Scott knows his timings to ensure the group is in the right place at the right moment to get great photos. His instructional workshop over coffee bought the morning practical all together and has allowed me to go on practicing what I have learned. I will be doing other courses of Scott's as I progress.
