Want to get up close to grey nurse sharks, giant stingrays, moray eels and sea turtles but don't have any diving experience? This diving experience is great for newbies! Your instructor will teach you the basics and supervise you. An amazing opportunity to get close to majestic marine animals.
Ever wanted to get up close with your favourite marine life? This experience gives you an opportunity to see grey nurse sharks, sea turtles, stingrays and more in a safe and controlled environment. Your qualified instructor will run through a safety briefing and video, next up you'll be fitted out with your wetsuit and equipment to try out your new skills in the dive pool.
After you've gotten the hang of diving, you'll enjoy a 30-minute dive into the oceanarium and be arms length from four different species of shark - one is the largest shark in captivity in Australia - and a host of other marine life including turtles and stingrays. After your dive you will receive a de-brief and a certificate of achievement, then you're free to take in any of the talks or guided tours in the sanctuary.

If you suffer from asthma, heart disease, epilepsy, diabetes, chronic chest conditions, chronic sinus conditions, ear problems or high blood pressure; are pregnant or have any injuries or psychological issues that would prevent you from diving, you will need written confirmation from your doctor that you can participate safely,If you have been certified but have less than 15 dives logged, you will need to go through the introductory lesson and dive pool practise, if you are certified and have more than 15 dives logged you will need to present your log book and then you can do a certified dive
Bookings for the Dive are essential. All divers must arrive to “check in” for their dive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time. Late arrival or non-attendance will result in non admittance to the Dive session. Missing your scheduled dive time is non-refundable. If you are sick and cannot make your session time you are required to give notice and you will need to provide a medical certificate.
Our experience provider reserves the right to cancel any dive session should they decide that participation in a Dive is unsafe, or for any other reason which is at the absolute discretion of the Supplier.
Should a Dive not proceed, then Divers will be re-booked at the earliest possible time at the convenience of the Divers, taking into account available places.
Vouchers are non-refundable however they are transferable. The experience provider must be notified prior to any transfer.
