Discover the serene and secluded Kangaroo River by canoe with a glass of champagne in one hand and an array of delicious canapes in the other. In a custom-built canoe, paddle through a sunken forest, revel in the untouched wildlife that surrounds and sample cool climate wines along the way.
Witness Mother Nature over deliver in natural beauty and brilliance during this guided canoe tour down the Kangaroo River. This is no regular canoe tour. No where else in Australia can you paddle through a sunken forest whilst sipping on champagne, savouring a selection of delicious canapes and sampling cool climate wines. After a safety briefing, jump on board a custom-built canoe, featuring built-in tables and ice buckets to store your goodies. Your guide will set off downstream on the Kangaroo River from Beehive Point to the mouth of Yurranga Creek, with the unparalleled beauty of the Morton National Park as your backdrop. Glide down the sun-dappled waters and take in the sweet silence of nature, with only the soft paddles from your canoe and on occasion, the flaps of a kingfisher filling the air. The River plays home to a variety of wildlife including the wedge-tail eagle, diamond python, rock wallaby and more. Sit back, relax and let your guide take you on a magical journey.
