Elevate your picnic game with our Hamper in the Hills experience—an effortless, gourmet alfresco feast set in our stunning estate gardens. Collect your bespoke wooden hamper from our cellar door, find the perfect shady spot, and indulge in a spread of delicious regional fare, perfectly paired with a bottle from our Market Series wines. Enjoy a bespoke grazing box filled with local cured meats and cheeses, house made pickled vegetables, relish and dip, freshly made focaccia bread, crackers, fruit. Whether it’s a relaxed catch-up with friends or a romantic escape for two, this self-guided picnic is all about savouring great food, fine wine, and breathtaking surroundings. Just unbox, unwind, and graze the day away!

  • The duration of this experience is 1-3 hours
  • This experience is available from 11.30am, 7 days a week
  • This experience is unavailable on public holidays
  • This is a seasonal experience offered from September to April inclusive

    • As alcohol is served all guests must be over the age of 18 years. Proof of age in the form of photo identification may be requested on the day
    • Food allergies can be catered for – please advise when making your booking
    • Dietary preference Hampers (eg vegetarian or vegan) cannot be offered

    • Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
    • Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
    • Late arrivals or no-shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

    Each hamper serves 2 people.

    The Hamper in the Hills experience is an outdoor experience and in the case of inclement or extreme weather, guests will be contacted on the day prior to their booking and given the opportunity to cancel or postpone.

    Casual dress, please dress for the local weather conditions.

    Additional food items and beverages can be purchased on the day. Alternative seating arrangements can be arranged, please let the provider know at time of booking if you would prefer chairs

    This experience takes place in the gardens at Golding Wines, located at Lobethal in the Adelaide Hills.
