Spend an enchanting night in Australia's first underwater accommodation in the heart of the Great Barrier Reef. Having only two suites available on the pontoon, this experience is highly exclusive and unmissable. Begin your fairytale holiday with a cruise through the iconic Whitsundays to Hardy Reef, situated 40 nautical miles from Airlie Beach. Upon arrival, enjoy a delicious lunch before the reef is your oyster to explore. Spend the day swimming and snorkelling in this untouched paradise or simply lounge on the deck and take in the serenity. Home to a myriad of spectacular reef fish including coral trout, travelly and snapper and kaleidoscopic coral gardens, you will be left in awe. When mid-afternoon strikes, day visitors will depart, leaving this oasis exclusive to overnight guests. As the sky fills with orange and pink hues from the sunset, sip on a drink or two before enjoying a starlit long-table dinner on the pontoon's upper deck.
After dinner, retreat to your private underwater luxury suite. Sink into your plush king bed and admire the reef abundant with marine animals come to life through the floor to ceiling windows. With no phone or television reception, you will be truly immersed in this natural wonderland, reconnecting with nature and each other. Wake up to unmatched views of the reef, well rested for another action-packed day. Enjoy a delectable breakfast overlooking the turquoise swirls of the reef before joining a semi-submarine tour and visiting the underwater observatory. All meals and drinks are included during your stay allowing you to completely relax and enjoy your time on the beautiful reef. An out-of-this-world experience leaving you with lasting memories you will treasure forever.
This is not a private tour. You will be travelling with the Great Barrier Reef adventure day guests. Once they depart, there will be a small group of 'Reefsleepers' left on the pontoon for the night.
This experience is subject to sea and weather conditions. If the conditions are deemed too dangerous the tour will not operate and you will be rescheduled by the experience provider.
It is recommended you wear comfy clothing you can be active in. Bring swimwear, a change of clothes, beach towel, hat, sunglasses and sunscreen. If it is cool or windy, you may need a jacket. Bring along toiletries and your own bath towel.
Feel free to bring your camera. You may also want to bring along some cash or a credit card, this will allow you to purchase extras such as wine at dinner, massages or scuba diving.
