Unwind with a two-night stay at the luxury, solar-powered off-grid cabin known as Frankie. This pet friendly accommodation is close to Melbourne but far away enough for you pretend your work life and all those screens you're always looking at don't exist, if only for a little while.

If you're craving some quality 'you' time then the Frankie off-grid cabin is ready and waiting to welcome you into its arms. Located approximately a two-hour drive West-ish from Melbourne, with nothing but 360-degree views of the rolling hills, long grass and open sky, Frankie is the perfect escape to hit the reset button and find your own form of bliss. pets are welcome to join you. With a hot shower, a kitchenette and all the creature comforts that you'll require for a cosy overnight stay, you can even invite your favourite furry friend to join you for the duration of your stay. And, when night falls, take advantage of the open fire pit to roast some marshmallows or gaze at the stars while revelling in the serenity of the secluded location.

Session Length

The duration of this experience is a two-night stay
Check in from 3pm and check out by 11am

Minimum 3?night stay for the New Year’s Eve period. Mandatory check?in date is 30 December. The same requirement will also apply for the 2026 to 2027 holiday period. Additional fees or higher rates may apply during peak or special event periods, and these charges may be payable directly to Unyoked.

Restrictions

Guests of the Frankie Cabin must be over the age of 18. You will receive an email with pre-arrival instructions upon booking the cabin. Additional house rules will also be provided in your field guide.

Guidelines

Guests must be over the age of 18
The exact location of your cabin will be provided upon booking
Cabins are located on rural and often undeveloped areas of land that are often not occupied by the Landowner all year round
Guest acknowledge that they are responsible for their own safety in and around the cabin and property
Midweek is Monday to Thursday
Weekend is Friday to Sunday
Subject to availability
Pets are welcome. There is a $40 pet fee which will be charged by Unyoked directly
Please note: All cabins have a minimum of 2-night stay on weekends.

Cancellation

For changes made at least 15 days prior to arrival there is no cancellation fee and guests can choose to either reschedule, receive a gift voucher for the full amount
For changes made 8-15 days prior to arrival, there is a cancellation fee of 50% of the total booking amount (plus 5% processing fee).
For cancellations within 8 days prior to arrival there will be no refund, voucher or rebooking - partial or otherwise.
For early departures prior to your Departure Date, there will be no refund, voucher or rebooking - partial or otherwise

Weather

The cabin is a great place to be during the warmer and cooler months and even when it rains! During wet or poor weather, guests may be notified of a weather warning. In the event you are notified of a weather warning, there will be a place to park your vehicle/s in any alternative nominated wet weather zones.

Location

This experience is located in Warrenmang, VIC. Frankie sits on the traditional land of the Djadjawurrung People. It is approximately two-hours drive West-ish from Melbourne. Please note there is a 700-metre hike to the cabin from the car park.

No heating freezing cold

We stayed in the Frankie tiny home and regretted our decision as the heater in the cabin was broken and was not fixed and remained broken for both nights in freezing cold weather. We contacted the suppliers and the host and the issue was not fixed please confirm that they have fixed this problem before you go through what we did.
