Escape to the picturesque vineyards of Langhorne Creek for a day that's bursting with flavour. Enjoy a glass of champagne on arrival before indulging in fine wine tastings at three cellar doors and a sumptuous lunch of local produce at a regional venue.
A best kept secret in viticulture, Langhorne Creek is nestled amongst gum trees and is one of Australia's oldest wine regions producing a variety of flawless wines. Be treated to a glass of champagne on departure before cruising along the winding roads to Bleadesale cellar door. Go behind the scenes and see old hand-hewn red gum vats, sample an array of their signature wines and view the enormous 3.5 tonne lever basket press, iconically crafted from the timber of ancient local trees. Continue onto Bremerton cellar door, a renovated horse stable built in 1856 that creates a gorgeous ambience for a tasting, before heading to Lake Breeze Wines, one of Australia's most awarded boutique wineries. Discover wines with incredible depths of flavour whilst admiring views of the beautiful vineyards and greater Adelaide Hills.
A visit to The Winehouse will see you sampling wines from across the region, from Ben Potts Wines, Gipsie Jack, Kimbolton and legendary John Glaetzer’s John’s Blend. Throughout the day, you will also indulge in a delicious lunch at a regional destination, featuring locally sourced and seasonal produce. The afternoon winds down with a visit to a local township, with free time to wander the streets and check out the shops and pubs.
