You and your group of vino connoisseurs will love this hands-on experience that beats any winery tour! Work with an award-winning winemaker to make red wine. Your group can pick from 2 hands-on components; picking, basket pressing or bottling. You'll take home 300 bottles of your wine to share.

A once in a lifetime experience for the wine lovers; this is the perfect day out for a corporate team or group of friends. Your group will work with an award winning winemaker to produce your own red wine. Choose from Grenache, Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon and get hands-on in making your own delicious drop. Your group will be able to choose two of the following activities; picking and crushing, basket pressing, bottling. The rest will be done by the qualified winemakers and staff at this Eden Valley winery.

You will receive training, education and guidance from this dedicated staff, as well as a delicious lunch. You'll also get to take home 300 bottles of your unique, hand made wine complete with labels to share among your group. Each bottle is valued at approximately $32.90. A day of learning, getting active and sampling some great produce! A fantastic experience you won't forget, especially when take those bottles out of the cellar and taste your hard work.

Session Length

  • Be The Winemaker experiences must be booked by January of each year, so that the provider can select your grapes in time for vintage
  • Your winemaking experience can be customised to your preferences, but please allow a half-day including lunch at the winery
  • The timing of your experience will depend on which experience you choose and when the grapes are ready, but as a guide picking and pressing are usually March-April and bottling in winter


Participants must be over 18 years of age.


Once this experience has been confirmed, changes are at the discretion of the experience provider and arranged directly with them according to their policy.
