The first day is all about experiencing nature and wilderness. Discover stunning sea cliff coastlines, sweeping beaches and convict heritage on the Bruny Island Food Trail, stopping for a late lunch at Bruny Island Premium Wines. You will also receive a beautiful bottle of wine to take home or enjoy back at your accomodation. Next, you'll embark on a private tour of the Cape Bruny Lighthouse, perched above the pounding oceans and craggy coastlines of Southern Tasmania. The evening finishes with a sumptuous dinner feast back at the hotel featuring seafood chowder, slow cooked local lamb and countless other hearty dishes. Wash this all down with a lovely local cider or beer.
Wake the following morning to tuck into a delicious breakfast to fuel another full day of exploration. You'll have the choice to bush walk to Grass Point (Very easy one hour return) or Fluted Cape (Medium grade). The rest of the day will have you tasting freshly shucked oysters, cheese, chocolate and honey from local food producers. Marvel at the breathtaking views across Adventure Bay towards Fluted Cape, Tasman Peninsula and D’Entrecasteaux Channel from Neck Wildlife Zone and Beach, before catching the 4pm ferry back to the mainland.
