Looking for a bit of down time and adventure? Head to the Stamford Plaza Hotel, planted in the centre of the Adelaide CBD and only moments away from the buzzing bars and restaurants of Leigh and Peel Streets, and the shops of Rundle Mall. You will be staying in a superior room, fitted out with all the amenities you need including a plush king bed, modern bathroom and in-house movies.
Your day to KI begins bright and early, with all transport to the island included. Internationally celebrated for its diverse and pristine landscapes and abundance of wildlife, Kangaroo Island is a natural wonderland eager to be explored. The first stop is the stunning Seal Bay Conservation Park for a guided beach walk amongst endangered and wild Australian sea lions. Admire these wonderful creatures frolic and laze about right before you. Feast upon a delicious two course lunch before spending the afternoon at the Flinders Chase National Park, where you'll see the astonishing regeneration of the landscape after the devastating bushfires. Keep watch for echidnas, wallabies, reptiles and koalas as you wander along. Witness the rugged coastline as you explore the iconic Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch. Finish the day with a visit to the KI Wildlife Park to see some of the kangaroos and koalas up close, before heading back to Adelaide.
