Seize this extraordinary opportunity to stay overnight on board an authentic tall ship as you explore the famous icons and hidden gems of Sydney Harbour. After settling into your cabin, you will be spoiled with tasty canapes where you will have the chance to chat with the crew and guests, whilst admiring the interrupted harbour views. Wake the following morning to the smell of a hot cooked breakfast served in front of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House before disembarking at the historic Goat Island. Here you will learn about Sydney's colourful convict past and its early Aboriginal occupation before departing the ship at 11am.

This is an overnight experience
Sailing schedule from 5:30pm and return the following day
Only available on selected Fridays
Boarding time is 15 minutes before departure

Guidelines

Participants must be 15 years old and older. Passengers under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult
Participants must be 18 years and over to consume alcohol; photo ID is required
The provider can only cater for vegetarian and gluten free. Strictly no BYO
The menu is subject to change to ensure fresh produce of premium quality. Note that the vegetarian options are not vegan

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

There will be up to 14 people sharing the experience.

Weather

The tall ship is covered and will sail in wet weather. Please bring wet weather gear if it looks like rain. If weather conditions or other factors cause the Master to cancel the sail, a rain check for another voyage will be issued.

Dress Code

Smart casual wear is fine, please consider the weather on the day. We suggest soft low heel shoes and a warm jacket. You are welcome to bring a small cushion if required. White shirts or pants might not be a great idea and no sharp heeled shoes.

Sunset and overnight on Harbour a unique event

Fantastic experience to spend overnight on the Harbour. Really valued a crew that obviously enjoyed what they were doing. Also enjoyed the very visible mechanical operations as opposed to just pushing buttons. Julie worked very hard, Craig was a mine of information and stories and the captain very friendly (as were all the staff). Would have preferred more sail and less smell of diesel!

Really great experience sailing in the Soren Jansen beautiful solid timber boat amazing craftsmanship The captain and crew were very welcoming and helpful and the food was good with plenty of wine and champagne to be had. Sleeping over was as you would expect, bunk beds and a funky share toilet no surprise really after all it’s old boat All up a great time

Wonderful Dinner & stay on Soren Larsen

We had a perfect Sydney night on the Soren Larsen which became even more magical when the engines shut off and we were under sail (which we helped set). There was a variety of canapes to suite everyone. Overnight we slept in the cabin listening to the water lap gentally against the wooden hull and in the morning the tour of Goat Island was both fun and fascinating. The crew and skipper were great; open, friendly, & willing to assist. I'm glad we booked this experience.
