Taking the stage for 2020 is La Traviata, the story that inspired Moulin Rouge. Embellished with a 3.5 tonne chandelier that sparkles with 10,000 crystals over the harbour and stage and an impressive fireworks display, the show is a visual extravaganza. As the sky lights up with red and orange hues of the sunset and glimmers on the harbour, enjoy dinner and drinks at one of the five pop-up bars and restaurants close by. Then, be seated in the comfortable grandstand for a spectacular show. The performance features graceful melodies, lively drinking songs and heartbreaking duets, accompanied by a live orchestra hidden under the stage.

La Traviata on Sydney Harbour is an open-air and all-weather event. The venue, seating and stage are completely uncovered. This is all-weather experience and the provider is committed to going ahead with a performance even in doubtful or unfavourable weather conditions. Please come prepared so that you are as comfortable as possible. Performances will only be cancelled during electrical storms (within 10km radius) or during times of extremely high winds and/or rain. The decision to cancel a performance is not made until 7:30pm or later and a cancellation may be called during the performance.
Bring warm and waterproof clothing. Please note that although umbrellas can be brought to the venue, out of consideration for other members of the audience they cannot be used during the performance.
